DeTECHtive
The TRC Facilitator for the group is assigned the role of the lead DeTECHtive. This DeTECHtive will function as the team leader, to monitor team progress, encourage member participation, and report the team’s findings. The DeTECHtive should assign each TRC teacher (or grant team member) to a Special Agent assignment. (If you have additional team members present, they can work with a Special Agent or the DeTECHtive.)

Special Agents - Part 1 (15 minutes)
Each Special Agent should complete their Assignment to narrow the list of suspects:
• Alpha: E-mail translation (online translation tool)
• Bravo: Interrogation Report with Headquarters (skype)
• Charlie: Online Clues (delicious bookmarks)
• Delta: At the Scene (google earth trip with tech integration videos)
Collaboration - Part 2 (10 minutes)
Special Agents should collaborate with their designated Special Agent Team to determine the perpetrator(s).
• Alpha collaborates with Bravo to id one of the perpetrators and/or establish motive.
• Charlie collaborates with Delta to id one of the perpetrators and/or establish motive.
Regrouping - Part 3 (10 minutes)
Return to your original TRC team, summarize the evidence and identify the perpetrator(s) and/or motive.
Reporting Out - Part 4 (10 minutes)
The Team DeTECHtive should be prepared to report the perpetrator(s) and give justification on why their team felt that this suspect committed the crime.
Follow Up (10 minutes)
